After thorough exploration of the theme of ‘what to do with rubbish’, ending with making Christmas pudding piñatas from newspaper,
our ‘Extreme Team’ is now planning activities for the New Year.
Returning favourites will be an inter-unit football match, a ‘Big Game’ evening and another, no doubt highly competitive, Masterchef competition .
New projects will be designing a new Explorer website and going rollerblading. We will also be searching for even more success than last year in
regional events such as the MAD day.
On the badge front, one of our boys is awaiting the presentation of his Duke of Edinburgh Gold award, while another will be completing his final stage.
Our girls are all well on their way to the same golden goal under the expert direction of their leaders, Martin and Barry.
