Over recent years the Scout organisation has recognised that we are being used as a child minding service.
With the change in lifestyles that have occurred this is to be expected.
We do understand that in some families both parents have very busy life styles and that in other families there may only be one parent
at home on a regular basis.
All of the people who give up their time to run the sections of a scout group are volunteers and get nothing but satisfaction to see
the children grow, develop and enjoy themselves.
These people give up more than just an hour or two once a week, their devotion involves a lot of planning and research which can
take several hours per week. If you feel it necessary to comment about the running of a section try offering your help.
We have found it necessary to implement a Behaviour policy which will be available on the web soon. This has been put in place to help
maintain control over a few individuals who insist on disrupting the meetings.
